A: Please send an email with your contact details.
   
Q: Can i buy your products as an individual?
A: You sure can, we manufacture cases for large customers and for individuals.
   
Q: Are amptown cases being sold by retailers?
A: Not really, anyone may order from amptown cases directly.
   
Q: Is it possible for a representative to visit?
A: Since we do not have representatives, unfortunately that is not possible. In the metropolitan area of Hamburg, however, someone could come out to see you should that be necessary.
   
Q: Are all the flightcases available from factory stock?
A: Not really, we hold some of the standard cases like double door racks, briefcases, rgging cases, toolboxes or transflex on stock, other cases are made on specific demand.
   
Q: What is the time of delivery for the flightcases?
A: Time of delivery depends on the order situation. But in general, it is between 1.5 and 2 weeks.
   
Q: Is it very expensive to have a case made to my particular specifications?
A: We do not charge for developing and designing a case made to specifications. What we do charge, however, are the materials used.
   
Q: Which information do you require for a custom-made flightcase?
A: If we haven't made this kind of flightcase before, we need three measurements (length, widht, height) to give you a quote. When receiving the order we either require a detailed drawing of the item to be packed or we need the item at your premises to take the exact measurements.
   
Q: Is it possible to order parts?
A: Of course you can order everything from parts over flightcases hardware to wood from amptown cases.
   
Q: What is the difference between FCP and FCS
A: FCP stands for Flight Case Profi. Made with 9mm multiplex birch plywood laminated on both sides, with profi fittings, 35mm aluminium extrusions for edging and large ball corners.
FCS stands for Flight Case Standard. Made with 7mm multiplex birch plywood laminated on both sides, with standard fittings, 25mm aluminium extrusions for edging and small ball corners.
   
Q: What is the meaning of SiP?
A: SiP, superior impact protection, is an integral foam system with an abrasion-resistant surface and a soft core. Developed by amptown cases in 1998, SiP inserts were first used for protecting moving heads. They are also useful to protect and secure mixing desks, plasma or LCD displays. For the time being, SiP inserts offer the best protection and safety dureing transport.
   
Q: Is it possible to order SiP inserts withouth a case?
A: Sorry, we only sell SiP inserts together with a flightcase.

Q: What is the meaning of FAD-2001?
A: It has to do with mixing desk cases and means cover for the cable compartment.
